Έπειτα της τριλογίας του σε box set, ο Paul McCartney ανακοίνωσε μια νέα συλλογή που ονομάζεται «The 7” Singles». Την ανέλαβε προσωπικά ο ίδιος, με το κουτί να περιέχει τα καλύτερα σιγνκλάκια της σόλο δισκογραφίας του.
Το κουτί περιέχει 80 Singles, 163 Songs σε βινυλιάκια 45 στροφών με τα εξώφυλλά τους και συνολικά 10 ώρες μουσικής. Η ειδική αυτή κυκλοφορία έχει προγραμματιστεί για τις 2 Δεκεμβρίου και περιορίζεται σε 3000 αντίτυπα. H τιμή του τσουχτερή αρχίζει από 526,16 λίρες – 611 δολάρια για την Αμερική.
Επίσης το πολυτελές κουτί περιέχει ένα βιβλίο 148 σελίδων επιμελήμένο από τον ίδιο. Ακόμη θα υπάρχει ένα δοκίμιο του μουσικού δημοσιογράφου Rob Sheffield. Επίσης εκτενείς πληροφορίες και σημειώσεις του Paul McCartney που στο σύνολό του αποτελεί ένα έργο τέχνης.
Επιπλέον μεταξύ άλλων κομματιών στη συλλογή υπάρχουν 15 Singles από κομμάτια που είχαν κυκλοφορήσει σε δίσκους 12 ιντσών. Picture disc, CD single & promo, ψηφιακές λήψεις, μουσικά βίντεο, δύο άγνωστα demos αλλά και σπάνια σιγκλάκια. Όπως τα: «Sweden», «Another Day» (σε εκτέλεση για το Record Store Day ’22 – Τραγούδι της Χρονιάς). Επίσης, «Oh Woman, Oh Why», «US Mono», «The Back Seat of My Car», «Heart of the Country», «Love is Strange. Ακόμη τα: “Give Ireland Back to the Irish” και “I Am Your Singer”.

Επίσης θα υπάρχουν μεγάλες επιτυχίες του όπως: “My Love,” “Live and Let Die,” “Band on the Run,” “Silly Love Songs,”. Αλλά και τα: “Coming Up,” “Ebony and Ivory,” “Say Say Say,” “No More Lonely Nights,” “Wonderful Christmastime”.

Ο McCartney κυκλοφόρησε το 18ο σόλο άλμπουμ του, «McCartney III», τον Δεκέμβριο του 2020. Με αυτό συμπλήρωσε την τριλογία του που άρχισε με τα άλμπουμ «McCartney» (1970) όπως και «McCartney II»(1980). Το περασμένο καλοκαίρι ήταν ο επικεφαλής μουσικός στο Glastonbury, το μεγαλύτερο μουσικό φεστιβάλ της Βρετανίας. Στο Pyramid Stage, έβγαλε στην σκηνή τους: Dave Grohl, Bruce Springsteen αλλά και έναν εικονικό John Lennon.
